Machine learning to support online education. The role of plug-ins in the Moodle platform

The paper focuses on some of the main technical and educational potential of plug-ins that can be installed on the Moodle LMS platform. The plug-ins presented are tools designed to offer more complex processing that can also provide predictions on student success.
